Overview:


This Florida Student Interview Team Manager is a member of an interdisciplinary team of epidemiologists and public health consultants assisting Florida in reaching its strategic public health goals. Candidates will be required to work onsite in Tallahassee, FL alongside this interdisciplinary team.

Essential Functions:


  • Participate as a member of the interview panel
  • Train the interview team after the hiring of the new interview staff
  • Conduct rapid telephone interviews 
  • Participate in site visit meetings. Provide Florida specific content to attendees generated from the evaluation of metrics provided by the CDC and any ongoing issues or best practices.
  • Participate in Semi-annual One-on-One visits with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. 
  • Collect, record, and report Metrics to the program coordinator each month. 
  • Provide the program coordinator with the data compiled from the metrics and best practices or any ongoing issues for the grant renewal application.
  • Provide the program coordinator with the calculated metrics
  • Participate in outbreak-related support duties 

Qualifications:


  • Master of Public Health
  • Two years of formal training or work in the epidemiology field.
  • Two years of experience conducting interviews.
  • One year of experience providing training to staff.
