Years of Experience: 3-7yearsEducation/Certification Requirements: BS, Computer Science or Related Technical Degree and CompTIA Security Plus Cert.Specific DutiesThis position will provide DoD Spectrum development and management best practices for allSoftware Development Lifecycle (SDLC) activities. This includes requirements definition andanalysis, software design, code development and inspection, test and integration, deployment,user interface development testing, documentation, scheduling, and planning.
- Strong development experience in .Net, C# and Java.
- Knowledge of the SDLC process, Agile environment and Scrum teams.
- Utilize an effective, security-first Agile software development approach thatleverages industry best-practices.
- Developed and delivered without the employment of intermediate stagingenvironments, if possible, between contractor systems and governmentproduction systems.
- Developed and delivered by automating quality checks and compliance tasksthrough the CI/CD pipeline.
- Be consistent with applicable Application Security and Development SecurityTechnical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
- Based upon a Zero Trust Architecture, as described in NIST SP 800-207.
- Maintain high-quality software code that follows a consistent style, is easilyunderstood, is well documented, and appropriately tested.
- Test coverage shall meet or exceed 80%.
- Software is developed in accordance with established, language-specific coding standards and verified by automated linting.
- Test code is written to be efficient and provide specific, useful assertions.
- Knowledge of SATCOM/Spectrum 21 a plus
