Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Los Angeles Summary: We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to optimize processes, increase productivity, and support our growth strategy.Our client is a leading life sciences manufacturing company dedicated to advancing innovative solutions that improve human health. With a strong commitment to quality and safety, they operate in a state-of-the-art GMP flex facility where they foster a collaborative and supportive work environment. As they continue to grow, we are seeking enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the field of biotechnology.
Responsibilities:
- Use Lean and other engineering tools to achieve transformational objectives.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and drive actions to realize them.
- Lead and coach teams to drive change and ensure outcomes are sustained.
- Collaborate with global and regional teams to share and implement best practices.
- Enhance pull systems and integrate effective organizational change management.
- Research and test process improvements, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance.
- Plan and execute production capacity increases.
Qualifications:
- Passion for challenging the status quo and improving operations.
- Proficient in manufacturing system and statistical analysis.
- Strong negotiation, influence, and facilitation skills.
- Self-motivated with a proven record of results.
- Leadership and mentoring skills.
- Advanced digital and data skills (Excel, PowerBI, Minitab, Python).
- Experience in FDA regulated environment and Good Manufacturing Practices is a plus.
- Excellent communication and project management abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering or similar.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
- Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.

Range varies based on knowledge and experience. Higher rates for short-term assignments and independent contractors.
