This position is onsite in Washington, DCActive Secret Clearance or higher is mandatory.  5 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree is required.  4 years of additional experience can be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.  


We are seeking an experienced Information Security Specialist with expertise in Linux systems and a strong understanding of secure system administration. This role involves ensuring the security, integrity, and availability of systems supporting critical financial software within a secure domain. 

Key Responsibilities:


  • Maintain and secure Linux-based systems, ensuring compliance with security policies and standards.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks through the implementation of security measures, including patch management and monitoring for vulnerabilities.
  • Manage domain-level security for systems supporting financial software, ensuring access controls and policies are implemented effectively.
  • Document security protocols, perform audits, and provide recommendations to enhance system resilience.

Required Qualifications:


  • Active Secret Clearance or higher.
  • 5+ years of experience in information security 
  • Proficiency in security monitoring, risk assessment, and vulnerability remediation.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CompTIA Security+, Linux+).
