We are seeking an experienced Information Security Specialist with expertise in Linux systems and a strong understanding of secure system administration. This role involves ensuring the security, integrity, and availability of systems supporting critical financial software within a secure domain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and secure Linux-based systems, ensuring compliance with security policies and standards.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks through the implementation of security measures, including patch management and monitoring for vulnerabilities.
- Manage domain-level security for systems supporting financial software, ensuring access controls and policies are implemented effectively.
- Document security protocols, perform audits, and provide recommendations to enhance system resilience.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Secret Clearance or higher.
- 5+ years of experience in information security
- Proficiency in security monitoring, risk assessment, and vulnerability remediation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CompTIA Security+, Linux+).
