POSITION SUMMARY


eGenesis is seeking a Laboratory & Facilities Operations Associate to join our Operations team in our Middleton, WI cGMP lab. As part of the broader Operations team, you will work closely with team members across our sites in Wisconsin, Indiana and Massachusetts. You will take ownership of laboratory operations in the cGMP Lab and implement Operations initiatives that align with and contribute to the larger site goals. In this role, you will use a broad set of Operations skills including strong communication, organization, a customer service approach and a proactive mindset.

This role is an opportunity for a solutions-oriented person who understands when to reach out for help and when to dive in themselves. In this role, you will continuously learn and upgrade your skillset and relentlessly search for opportunities to drive positive change.  

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Monitor equipment used within the facility and laboratory and perform or coordinate maintenance according to a schedule defined within the CMMS 
  • Serve as point of contact and escort visitors, contractors, and vendors onsite 
  • Act as the site coordinator for maintenance, deliveries and our landlord 
  • Receive and ship packages and deliver to the appropriate location within the facility 
  • Purchase, receive andinventory consumables for the site, obtaining COA’s as necessary 
  • Follow cGMP SOPs for routine tasks as written by our Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams 
  •  Work with site staff and our safety consultants to coordinate waste management, safety training and lab safety policies 
  • Partner with the lab members in Middleton as their clearinghouse for lab related issues and actively work with operations team members of our other sites as a positive teammate to minimize technical and safety gaps 
  • Ability to obtain DOT and RCRA certificates for shipping hazardous waste 
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to include evenings and weekends to respond to alarm calls or as business needs dictate 
  • Additional responsibilities as needed and directed

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS


  • At least 1 year of cGMP laboratory experience 
  • Ability to lift 50lb 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills 
  • Ability to multitask and navigate competing priorities 
  • Leads with a customer service mindset
