All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status.JOB SUMMARY Role and ResponsibilitiesThe candidate will assist with the fulfilment of technical asset management contracts for solar and BESS renewable energy projects by providing support to the Performance Engineers. 

  • Monitor sites for severe weather and issue alerts.
  • Monitor real-time data from sites to identify any anomalies or issues.
  • Conduct regular checks and analysis of system performance metrics.
  • Respond to alarms or alerts indicating site or equipment outages, data issues.
  • Create tickets for issues and send out notifications to the appropriate parties.
  • Follow up on outages to ensure they are being addressed. 
  • Catalog and track operations events tickets and system downtime.
  • Support Performance Engineers with technical asset activities as requested.

Required Qualification & Education

  • Basic knowledge of renewable energy or willingness to learn

  • Trade certificate or high school diploma (or equivalent) and less than 1 year of experience; post-secondary school education may substitute for years of experience 

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Able to follow written and verbal directions

  • Attention to detail

  • Able to work as part of a team

Required Software Knowledge

  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe PDF toolsets

Preferred Experience

  • Documentation editing and/or creation

  • Experience in the green energy or utilities domain

  • Experience with a U.S. based company

Preferred Skills & Competencies

  • Able to edit and create documentation accurately and concisely

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
