Key Responsibilities/ Duties:
- Prepare and/or review State and Federal compliance, to be filed in a timely manner.
- Full understanding of Tax regulations and impacts to ensure compliance with laws and regulations at all levels.
- Manage and understand Sales Tax in accordance with each state the organization operates in and the regulatory environment in which the Company operates.
- Create and establish relationships with internal and external clients and stakeholders in the areas of planning, and consulting on required Tax practices.
- Identify and reduce any and all tax risks for the organization with effective communication and a solid understanding of tax laws and regulations.
- Monitor and maintain Tax balances and all reconciliations.
- Provide support and assistance in financial audits.
- Prepare quarterly income tax provision and tax accruals.
- Partner and support Accounting staff when information needs to be provided and shared.
- Calculate estimated tax payments.

Education/ Experience:
- 5-7 years of experience in Tax related roles.
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in, Finance, Accounting, or Taxation
- CPA or MBA is preferred, but not required.
- Telecommunications experience preferred, but not required.
- Eager to learn from others and develop new skills in the Tax space.
- Applicable certifications with focus on tax and state/federal regulations.
Physical Demands:
Sedentary Work – Exerts up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, a negligible amount of force frequently, and/or constantly having to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
