Plan, direct and manage all aspects of the commercial activities and operations of the assigned regional midstream assets. This includes understanding overall macro market trends, developing customer relationships, developing business opportunities, directing commercial activities, directing the operations, evaluating economics of existing assets, consistently improving margins and driving profitable growth.

Essential Job Responsibilities:


  • Profit and loss responsibility for the assigned midstream region, charged with managing the assets for optimum effectiveness, improving operational performance, and maximizing operating cash flow
  • Develop and implement commercial and operational strategies that deliver safe, environmentally sound, efficient and financially optimal midstream operations
  • Develop and implement strategic business plans to increase profitability and asset margins
  • Provide leadership and direction in the development of short and long-range goals/plans for maximizing profit from the midstream assets
  • Manage the Harvest Alaska office in Anchorage
  • Hold self and team accountable for exceptional performance
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through reliable operations and maintain base system revenues
  • Generate and develop new business opportunities; this includes interpreting business trends, coordinating with potential business partners, negotiating with customers and directing the identification and quantification of incremental projects such as new supply and market connections, pump station or compression additions and new pipeline infrastructure
  • Develop and grow customer relationships to create business value, understand customer alternatives and competitive forces around the assets
  • Constantly look for new ways to add value
  • Direct the operation of the regional midstream business in a highly efficient manner, maintaining a consistently lean organization that responds to the needs of the business
  • Manage, supervise and lead assigned asset team to achieve goals within available resources
  • Supervise and direct the work of asset team members to accomplish the objectives of the team and company
  • Plan and organize workloads and staff assignments; train, motivate, evaluate assigned staff and review progress /direct changes as needed
  • Contribute to successful achievement of Harvest’s overall business goals and collaborate with other regional leaders to enhance company profits and business results
  • Conduct monthly field visits, at a minimum, to the company-operated assets to evaluate operations and maintain a safe and environmentally conscience workplace
  • Direct preparation for weekly regional business review meetings and present key accomplishments and focus areas
  • Direct preparation of regional performance results and present information at monthly and quarterly review meetings
  • Actively support company vision and mission

  • Adhere to established work schedule, attendance standards and is punctual to work and meetings

Education Requirements:


  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year university
  • Preferred: Undergraduate degree in engineering.
  • Preferred: MBA from an accredited university or college.
