impacting business growth through data-driven insights.
This role will be a balanced mix of 50% hands-on and 50% leading a team of 3.
You'll have a direct impact on shaping the company's success by collaborating with key leaders across the organization, supporting, challenging, and guiding various business stakeholders in data-driven decisions that have a direct impact on growth and strategy.This position can be based in Estonia, Finland, or Germany, and we are open to relocation to Estonia for the right candidate.
Your main responsibilities are:
- Supporting Starship’s data analytics needs across all functional domains, including insights, decision support, metrics, and reporting
- Collaborating with functional domain leads to ensure the most impactful data opportunities are addressed
- Looking after the well-being, productivity, and professional growth of your direct reports
- Defining ways of working and maintaining standards and quality in the data analytics and data science domains
- Planning for and hiring into the team to ensure the long-term success of the team

What we hope you’ll bring to the table:
- Previous experience working as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, Data Scientist, or similar, where you worked closely with key leaders and drove decisions through hands-on analysis in business, growth, strategy, product, or similar domains that directly impacted growth and strategy
- Experience leading teams and managing people
- Very strong SQL skills
- A quantitative mindset with a sharp focus on solving problems through data-driven decision-making
- Business acumen with the ability to influence outcomes and guide strategy
- Strong prioritization, stakeholder, and stress management skills
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- Dependable, organized, and proactive approach to work
