This role can be located anywhere in the United States, but we would prefer this person live in Austin, TX.


What will this role entail?


This role is ideal for a professional with proven experience in managing and executing B2B events, from webinars to tradeshows and in-person gatherings. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Event Coordinator will manage or support 40-60 events annually (3–5 per month), ensuring alignment with marketing goals, optimizing event calendars and budgets, and delivering impactful experiences that generate demand and meet KPIs.You will work closely with the demand generation team, designers, and web leads to plan, promote, and execute events, as well as ensure effective seller alignment and enablement.

Understanding of CRM systems, email marketing, sales enablement, and landing page/registration creation is critical for success in this role. The ideal candidate can prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to quality standards, timelines, and budgets.

Responsibilities


Event Management


  • Collaborate with the demand generation team to develop and optimize the event calendar, ensuring alignment with marketing objectives
  • Plan, organize, and execute/support 40–60 events annually, including:  Webinars (e.g., Teams, GoToWebinar), Participation in industry tradeshows and conferences, In-person events and small executive gatherings
  • Manage event logistics, including budgeting, timelines, vendor coordination, speakers, and on-site or virtual execution
  • Oversee pre-event, on-site, and post-event activities, ensuring flawless delivery and lead tracking and follow-up
  • Maintain and manage event budgets, tracking expenses and ROI to maximize results

Event Promotion & Marketing


  • Partner with the marketing team to create event promotion strategies, including:  Landing pages and registration forms, Email marketing campaigns and nurture tracks, Social media and paid ads (as needed)
  • Leverage CRM tools (Dynamics 365) to manage attendee lists, segmentation, and post-event reporting

Event Analytics & KPIs


  • Track and report on event performance, including attendance, engagement, leads generated, and overall ROI
  • Use data-driven insights to optimize future event strategies

Collaboration


  • Work closely with internal teams (design, web, and content) to create compelling event assets
  • Work closely with sales team to ensure effective pre-and post-event follow up of leads
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for event stakeholders and external vendors

Qualifications


  • Education: BS/BA degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
  • Experience: 2–4+ years managing B2B events, including webinars, tradeshows, and in-person gatherings
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in event platforms like Microsoft Teams, GoToWebinar and similar tools, Experience with email marketing platforms
  • Event Execution: Proven ability to manage the end-to-end event lifecycle
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, multitasking ability, and time management
  • Creative Skills: Experience working with designers and content creators to develop engaging event materials
  • Data-Driven Approach: Strong analytical skills for tracking and optimizing event performance
  • Travel: Willing to travel up to 30%

Preferred Skills


  • Knowledge of B2B technology, cloud solutions, and IT services.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools.
  • Experience working in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with CRM systems, preferably Dynamics 365.
  • Experience with Dynamics 365.
