This role can be located anywhere in the United States, but we would prefer
Austin, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Chicago, Denver, Phoenix or Tampa.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Technical & Solution Leadership
- Lead the architectural design and development of Business Central customizations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Design and oversee the integration of Business Central with other systems and applications, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
- Create and maintain comprehensive solution documentation, including architectural designs, process flows, and technical specifications.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, updates, and best practices in Microsoft Dynamics and related technologies, driving continuous improvement within the team.
Customer Engagement and Leadership
- Collaborate with clients and functional team to understand their business needs, gather requirements, and translate them into effective solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to architectural standards.
- Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and ensure the adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in customizing and integrating with Business Central with a strong understanding of Business Central technical concepts and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex technical challenges.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent presentation and demonstration skills, ability to influence and ease decision making for customers.
- The ability to oversee full lifecycle application development within Dynamics 365, including design, development, testing, and deployment using Microsoft Azure DevOps.
- Experience with GIT for version control
- .NET C# Development Experience
- Foundation in Azure services such as Web Apps, Logic Apps and Azure Functions
What would make me stand out?
- Strong understanding and experience integrating Dynamics CE with Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Strong Background in .Net C# Development Experience
- Microsoft D365, Azure & Power Platform certifications
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript and Power Shell
- SSRS / SSIS Experience
- Ability to travel when required
