The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property. Job Overview
Shift Details:
- 12-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Location:
District Photo (Beltsville, MD)
Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour
Responsibilities:
Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other people to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
- Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a security presence.
- Respond to alarms and calls of distress to protect property and personnel.
- Monitor and operate security cameras and other surveillance systems.
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Warn people of rule infractions or violations, and apprehend or evict violators from premises, using force when necessary.
- Utilize de-escalation skills to manage conflicts and ensure a peaceful environment.
