Requirements
- Provide Domain Name System (DNS), IP Address Management (IPAM), sys admin services to end-users. Interface with end-users and other engineering entities. Maintain relevant technical documentation.
- Develop and maintain DNS/IPAM production systems and solutions, ensuring high services availability and resiliency.
- Perform lab vendor equipment, software, application, and solution evaluation, testing, integration, and security certification relevant to DNS/IPAM.
- Support Tier-4 production troubleshooting of the services above and develop pro-active analysis solution for the Operations team. Leverage complex network analysis tools to identify and predict relevant services problems and aid in the post-mortem analysis of anomalies.
- Some knowledge of either LINUX system administration or Windows Server administration
- Experience in developing, and maintaining DNS/IPAM.
- Experience of operations related to DNS/IPAM.
- Knowledge of DNS and IP Subnetting
- Familiar with Infoblox a plus
- Familiar with DNS BIND a plus
- Nice to have familiarity with routers/switches-Cisco, Juniper, Arista.
- Nice to have scripting, familiarity with Ansible, Python.
- TS/SCI with Poly REQUIRED.
- DoD 8570 Compliant.
- Candidate must have 7 years of experience that can be a combination of work history and education. This equates to a Doctorate and 0 years, master’s and 1 year, bachelor’s and 3 years, associates and 5 years or HS diploma and 7 years. Additional required qualifications include: Compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2.
