We are currently expanding our Federal team and are looking for an IT Governance SME. This opportunity is 100% remote.
Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a government suitability clearance.
The IT Governance SME will assist with the development and maintenance of the client’s IT Governance framework and programs by implementing key governance concepts including:
- Ensuring strategic alignment through enterprise architecture methodologies and tools, portfolio management, and balanced scorecards, performance measurement, project management, and organizational development;
- Implementing appropriate performance metrics and reporting systems that measure and monitor the performance of IT investments and initiatives in line with the business objectives and ensure that the organization's IT plans are on track and that benefits are realized;
- Optimizing organizational benefits through value management practices, benefits realization planning, performance monitoring, and response;
- Developing a risk framework for identifying, assessing, mitigating, managing, communicating, and monitoring IT-related business risks, and demonstrating good governance, business continuity planning, and alignment with relevant legal and regulatory requirements;
- Ensuring the efficient and effective implementation of IT initiatives through effective use of resources including budgets, personnel, infrastructure, data, and technology.Responsibilities:
- Contribute to change management, program management, organizational development, business analysis, data call process development, and performance management tasks
- Develop and improve client’s IT governance program by recommending enhancements that will improve stakeholder engagement, investment prioritization, and oversight
- Perform organizational development analysis to support As-is and To-be models with recommendations to improve the organization’s efficiencies and effectiveness in full utilization of resources and delivering quality products to the customer
- Experience utilizing IT Portfolio Management methodologies and processes, tools, strategic planning, trend analysis, organizational reporting and presentations, and identification of performance indicators for the purpose of performance measurements
- Experience writing alternative analyses, business cases, or point papers based on research, analysis, and observations
- Experience in strategic Enterprise Architecture (EA) analysis, including program management requirements alignment with Strategic Planning
- Providing governance, risk, and compliance data insights to drive improvement
- Participate in project planning and schedule development and maintenance activities
- Conduct organizational level reporting linking technologies to outcomes and mission-related tangible and intangible benefits
- Develop policies, processes, and standard operating procedures
- Provide Weekly and Monthly Status Reporting
- Provide meeting support as needed (facilitate meetings, prepare agenda, prepare project briefings, present to the stakeholders, document, and distribute meeting minutes, and track actions)
Skills and Knowledge:
- Knowledge of IT Governance drivers and outcomes including strategic alignment, performance management, delivery and value creation, resource and risk management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience in writing materials relevant to organization, project, and task goals and presenting material to senior Government officials

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer or Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field or technical discipline
- 10+ years of experience in IT Governance, business analysis, investment management, and Federal consulting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP and/or PMI Professional in Business Analysis PMI-BPA
- CGEIT, CGRC, CRISC, GRCP, or related
- ITIL Expert
