cBEYONData is seeking an OBIEE Developer to
help create insightful OBIEE reports and serve as a key member on the Reports team and interact with other Integrated Process Teams in support of the development of the client's accounting management system. The OBIEE Developer will provide reporting related business development assistance, helping project teams through approved phases of the project governance, requirements definition, reports development, testing, problem solving and training. The OBIEE Developer will demonstrate functional experience in Reporting Applications to include Oracle Business Intelligence and writing Structured Query Language (SQL).Responsibilities:

  • Provide analysis and problem resolution for fixes to reporting issues escalated from the help desk team
  • Review help desk tickets to determine if they require a design change
  • Work with business stakeholders to research and refine requirement; Develop and modify OBIEE Reports based on defined requirements
  • Work with business stakeholders, product owners, and developers to ensure testing scenarios executed successfully
  • Develop requirements and Perform testing for reports
  • Perform ad-hoc query research and analysis
  • Research and optimize SQL used for Reports
  • Review functional and technical design documents
  • Participate in process improvement workshops
  • Identify processes, document gaps, and provide solutions to bridge gaps and enhance processes

Requirements:

  • Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE)
  • 10+ years experience in a similar role
  • Master's degree strongly preferred 
  • Thorough understanding and experience with SQL language with Oracle database
  • 3+ years of PL/SQL programming experience
  • Ability to perform query optimization and performance tuning
  • Ability to analyze user reported errors to determine if the error is operational or systemic
  • Strong interpersonal skills – including the use of written, electronic, and oral communication
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in an agile team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Ability to obtain a public trust clearance

Additional Requirements:


  • Knowledge of Agile software development practices, including Scrum-based methodologies like SAFe
  • Oracle Discoverer experience
  • Experience with DoD clients
  • Knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Projects, Purchasing, and Fixed Assets
  • Knowledge and experience in Air Force Financial Management and Oracle E-Business Suite is a plus
