Cleared Python Engineer
Join Bestgate Engineering, where we develop innovative solutions for mission-critical systems.We’re looking for a Python Engineer to help implement a Zero-Touch Provisioning (ZTP) solution as part of an Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) for High-Performance Computing Systems. This includes schema design, interface development, testing, deployment, and sustainment.
Required Experience:
- 2 + years of Software Engineering experience with application development languages such as Python, Java, C/C++.
- Proficiency in Python development in a Linux environment.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Ansible.
- Knowledge of SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB).
- Experience with REST API design and implementation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitLab CI.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Podman, Docker).
- Proficiency with Git version control.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field; in lieu of a degree and 2 years of experience, 4+ years of relevant engineering experience will be considered; a Master’s degree in a related field may be accepted with no prior experience required.
- Required Security Clearance: TS/SCI w/Poly
Desired Experience:
- Knowledge of messaging frameworks (Kafka, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ).
- Experience with metrics tools (Grafana, Kibana).
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence).
- Experience with Pytest for testing.*Salary Range: $115,000 - $160,000
