Description
Title – Data Platform EngineerPosition – 6+ Months contract to hireLocation – RemoteRate - $Open (Best Possible)
- 8-10 years of experience with IBM i server administration and DB2 for i platform (DB2/400) required.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with DB2 for i as a database administrator (DBA).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS) and OLTP/OLAP concepts.
- Proficiency in IBM i navigation, including ACS, Schemas, Run SQL, plan cache, stored procedures, and creating user-defined functions (UDFs).
- Strong skills in writing complex SQL queries, including joins, sub-selects, and with statements.
- Proven experience managing high-volume, high-velocity application/data environments.
