The National Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing operational functions that support auctions and key clients across the country. This role includes coordinating with institutional customers, local auction personnel, and various vendors to ensure efficient and effective process. The Ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of operating systems, lead system training initiatives, ability to assess and mitigate risks, and serve as liaison between various stakeholders to enhance service quality and leverage best practices when available. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:RESPONSIBLE FOR:• Train the auctions on institutional clients SLAs as requested.• Troubleshoot and resolve existing operational issues at any auction location identified, including operating systems, national customer, or auction. • Constantly collaborating with all facets of the organization to build and maintain strong relationships within our auction footprint.• Collaborate and communicate effectively with Auction General Managers, VP of Operations, and SVP as it relates to understanding the Auction needs.• Deliver the highest level of customer service and exhibit ‘hands on’ and direct approach with the auctions and customers.• Ability to drive the process and work independently to develop the strategy, execute, build relationships, and lead the operational initiatives at the auction level as it relates to the customers’ expectations.• Be highly knowledgeable of the operations of an auto auction.Here’s a list of the benefits we offer:• Medical• Dental• Vision• FSA• 401K• Short Term Disability• Long Term Disability• Life Insurance• Accidental Death and Dismemberment • Accident Insurance• Critical Illness• Hospital Indemnity• Employee Assistance (EAP)• Paid Holidays• Paid time offRequirementsQUALIFICATIONS: • BA/BS degree in marketing/sales/business is a plus.• 5+ years of sales and customer service experience in the wholesale automotive field• 5+ years of experience in large customer sales, preferably in National Accounts or Fleet/Lease Management• Previous operational experience at the auction level preferred.• Strong knowledge of several current client SLA’s is a must.• Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written.• Demonstrated leadership with proven record of leading and owning the process.• Strong knowledge of condition reports, certification processes, reporting, transportation, mechanical inspections, and overall operations of a fleet/lease department.• Excellent people skills• Excellent phone & team’s skills• Strong knowledge of operating systems such as ASI, AutoIMS, Spark, CR Simplified• Ability to travel 75%.• Highly proficient with Microsoft.• Remote position but prefer a city of origin that is easily traveled via plane or automobile within our current auction footprint.The above functions are not intended to be exhaustive and all inclusive.
