Procurement and Accounting Support
Specialist to join our team. This role involves managing procurement processes, assisting with vendor management, and providing accounting support. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of accounting principles (debit/credit, balance sheets, and profit and loss accounts) and strong communication skills to support employees in the procurement process and handle related tasks efficiently.
Your main responsibilities are:
- Procurement Support:
- Manage and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Coordinate the approval, rejection, and communication processes for purchase orders
- Handle documentation updates and reconciliations as requested
- Ensure proper tracking and management of invoices, purchase orders, and related records
- Provide timely updates and support to employees throughout the procurement process
- Vendor Management:
- Assist in creating and maintaining vendor records in company systems
- Communicate with stakeholders regarding vendor approvals or rejections
- Update internal systems with accurate vendor details and ensure all records are up to date
- Accounting and Administrative Support:
- Assist with document updates and reconciliations
- Support senior accountants with various responsibilities related to procurement and vendor management
- Participate in the monthly closing process, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately, and deadlines are consistently met
- Communication and Employee Support:
- Act as a liaison between employees, vendors, and internal teams to facilitate smooth operations
- Provide clear and professional communication regarding procurement processes, approvals, and updates
- Collaborate with team members to address and resolve inquiries effectively

What we hope you’ll bring to the table:
- Basic Accounting Knowledge is required, previous working experience in accounting is beneficial
- Procurement Process Familiarity is required
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage invoices, purchase orders, and related records effectively
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to support employees and liaise with vendors and internal teams efficiently
- Proficiency with Office Software is required, and familiarity with ERP and procurement systems is beneficial
- Knowledge of Compliance Standards is also beneficial
