To learn more about us visit: www.spatialfront.comThis position will perform as the Air Traffic Control OPS Support Engineer supporting a fast-paced and operational environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Providing Second Level Engineering (SLE) support to address automation issues involving Traffic Flow
- Management Systems (TFMS) and providing assessment(s).
- Preparing and reviewing Second Level reports containing TFMS automation issues from the current day/previous day’s operation.
- Participating in reviews and telecons to keep the Program Office informed of issues.
- Providing support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
- Providing support to systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution.
- Providing support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management, internal and external customers.
- Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems.
Requirements
- Required degree ( Engineering, math, and science degrees)
- 15+ years of relevant experience
- Eight (8) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
- Candidates must be able to pass a US Public Trust background check for badging and to access client systems
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Air Traffic Control experience
- Red Hat Linux experience (nice to have)
- Ability to accurately and professionally handle multiple simultaneous high priority issues
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to manage short- and long-term priorities
- Excellent organizational skills with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft office products
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize a diverse workload and meet established deadlines with minimal supervision
- Good judgment, tact, and initiative to make effective independent decisions when necessary
- Ability to accommodate schedule changes
- Strong organizational and time management skills

- In order to meet the clearance requirements for this opportunity, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

- The salary for this position is $105,000 - $145,000 annually
