The Internal Communications & Engagement Specialist is responsible for fostering effective internal communication within the organization, ensuring employees are informed, engaged, and aligned with the company's vision, values, and objectives. This role focuses on creating and managing internal communication strategies, supporting employee engagement & strategic initiatives, and promoting a positive organizational culture. The role also involves collaboration with leadership and various departments to deliver clear, consistent, and impactful messages.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Internal Communication Strategy: Partner with Dir. Programs/Talent mgmt. to develop and implement comprehensive internal communication plans to enhance transparency, engagement, and information flow across the organization.
  • Content Creation: Write, edit, and distribute internal communication materials, such as newsletters, intranet updates, memos, FAQs, presentations, and video scripts.
  • Employee Engagement: Support initiatives that foster employee engagement, morale, and a sense of community, including organizing company events, town halls, and recognition programs in partnership with the internal Culture Team.
  • Intranet & Digital Platforms: Manage and update the company intranet and internal communication tools to ensure content is relevant, engaging, and accessible.
  • Leadership Communication: Collaborate with senior leaders to craft and deliver key messages, ensuring that leadership’s vision and goals are effectively communicated to all employees.
  • Change Management: Assist in communicating organizational changes, restructuring, or updates in a clear and empathetic manner that supports employee understanding and adaptation.
  • Crisis Communication: Support internal communication efforts during crises or emergencies, ensuring timely and clear information is distributed across all levels of the organization.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with HR, marketing, IT, and other departments to align internal communication efforts with broader company initiatives and goals.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Measure the effectiveness of internal communication initiatives, using metrics such as engagement rates, survey results, and feedback to continually improve strategies.
  • Training & Support: Provide communication best practices and guidance to managers and teams to ensure consistency and effectiveness in internal messaging.
