Description:

- Looking for an innovative, and motivated individual to join a small, talented, and hardworking Linux team in a hybrid cloud environment. This team creates, maintains, and troubleshoots Linux instances on multiple networks, in multiple architectures.]
- The ideal candidate will have hands-on Linux administration experience, knowledge of AWS Cloud technologies, works well in a small team setting, has a desire to automate processes where possible, and a willingness to think outside the box to find solutions.
Requirements:
- No demonstrated experience is required. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of system administration experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
- CompTIA Security+
- Must be proficient in Windows based operating systems
- Monitor servers for health and status
- Provides Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems
- User account administration
- Ability to prepare technical documentation (i.e. SOPs, wikis, etc)
- Knowledge of system security controls
- Ability to provide Windows tech support to team members, including multiple development teams
- TS/SCI w/ POLYGRAPH REQUIRED BEFORE CONSIDERATION
Desired Skills:
- Automated instance provisioning (Deploy via Kickstart, VMWare template, AWS AMI)
- Experience building, configuring, and maintaining Windows platforms (physical and/or virtual)
- Experience with or understanding of services such as DNS, DHCP, NFS, Active Directory, group policies, OUs, vSphere, VMWare Horizon, Citrix
- Experience with AWS Cloud and Services
- Experience with scripting and patching
