Waltonen Engineering is seeking a Teamcenter/Data Management Specialist to join our team!
Responsibilities
- Download and manage product data within Teamcenter, including data from GM.
- Upload and release design files to Teamcenter.
- Assist with data transfers and ensure data integrity.
- Responsible for the compilation and assembly of data into finished products.
- Collaborate with design teams to ensure accurate data management.
- Move and position components, add/replace components, and manage drawing uploads.
- Maintain and update Teamcenter configurations and settings.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data management and Teamcenter operations.
- Ensure compliance with company data management policies and procedures.
- Create and maintain plant structures in the GM Teamcenter database.
- Manage standards library and check/correct CAD files to release standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in data management, preferably within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Hands-on experience with Siemens Teamcenter.
- Proficiency in using Teamcenter for data management tasks.
- Familiarity with CAD software, especially NX.
- Understanding of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) principles.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work overtime as dictated by workload.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Processing, Design, System Layout, or Robotic Simulation is a plus.
- Familiarity with BIW (Body-in-White) robotic weld systems and tooling preferred.
