BCMC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support a United States Government customer on a large mission critical development and sustainment program to design, build, deliver, and operate a network operations environment.
Clearance: Must be U.S. Citizen to be eligible for DoD Secret security clearance.
Core Work Hours:
7a-4p Monday – Friday, except Government Holidays
Place of Performance: Remote

Responsibilities Include:
•Collaborating within Agile Scrum teams as a key contributor responsible for the design, test and implementation of advanced software capabilities.• Developing and performing automated builds, testing, and deployments• Transition and integrate legacy systems.• Developing high quality technical documentation, including user guides, test plans, and contract deliverable items and supporting product training.
Required Skills:
• 8+ years of directly relevant software development experience• 2+ years of experience with Agile software development• Strong experience with the following technologies: Java or C#, XML, and Web Services (REST API and SAML)• Ability to create well-modularized, maintainable software and willing to follow group coding standards and design.• Proficiency with MS Office Applications
Desired Skills:
• Purchase Request Data Standard (PRDS) development or knowledge is desired• Understanding or experience with the ServiceNow platform• Certifications related to Agile development and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) such as Scrum Master, Product Owner, SAFe Agilist (SA), SAFe Practitioner (SP)
Required Education:
BS Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, OR Computer Systems Engineering. [Eight (8) years of experience (for a total of fourteen (14) or more years) may be substituted for a degree.]
