This is a flexible position and has the option of working in our Toronto office full time, hybrid throughout the week or working entirely remotely.
Position SummaryAs our Solution Manager, you will be designing Proof of Concept solutions for our clients to demonstrate how the Vena platform works. You will be responsible for engaging with the Solutions Consultants to learn about challenges our prospects have, help them understand how Vena can solve these challenges and add value to their business.What you will do
- Work with presales Solutions Consultants to deconstruct a client/prospect business process and define the strategy for delivering a meaningful Proof of Concept solution (POC)
- Build POCs that are tailored to solving the prospects’ pain points and ensure that all success criteria are delivered and product differentiators are included
- Liaise with the Solution Architect team and leverage best practices and new product features into POC solutions
- Transfer knowledge of POCs to presales Solutions Consultants who deliver the POC through solution design, architecture documentation and/or demo script
- Where required, demonstrate the POC solution to the client/prospect
- Transform POC solutions to productized vertical industry and partner solutions
- Create, refine and maintain corporate standard demo and use case specific content
- Develop subject matter expertise in CPM and industries/verticals
Does this sound like you?
- 2+ years’ related work experience; preferably a proven track record with working with or at a Corporate Performance Management (CPM) vendor
- Strong grasp of the types of financial applications that Vena Solutions implements i.e. budgeting, planning, forecasting, month end close, financial reporting, consolidations
- Comprehensive skill set using Excel
- Experience with Power BI an asset
- Ability to gather and understand the potential customer’s requirements, leveraging a consultative approach, and convert those requirements into an effective POC
- Strong business acumen and understanding of multiple industries’ budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes, such as manufacturing, services, banking, insurance, etc.
- Strong communication skills
- Self-learner, with sense of initiative, and perseverance to deliver high quality work
