Position Overview:
We are seeking a Software Developer to utilize your skills in the successful ingestion, cleansing, transformation, loading, and display of large amounts of data, particularly focused on Cloud data. In this role, you will design, implement, and optimize large-scale data ingest systems in a Big Data Cloud environment, working across all stages of the data lifecycle.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Strong software development experience, including Java development, data analysis, and SQL/database expertise.
- Experience with the full data lifecycle, from ingest through display, in a Big Data environment.
- Proficiency with Java-related technologies such as JDK, J2EE, EJB, JDBC, Spring, and experience with RESTful APIs.
- Experience developing and performing ETL tasks in Linux and/or Cloud environments.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience with Cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure).
- Experience with Hadoop, HBase, and MapReduce.
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch.
- Experience working in mission environments or handling diverse data types.
