In this role, you will be responsible for leading the engineering efforts on various projects while ensuring that quality is integrated at every stage of the development lifecycle.As a Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for driving best practices in quality assurance, continuous integration, and deployment. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, guiding the team in adopting testing strategies that identify and resolve issues early.
Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a culture of excellence while mentoring other engineers to elevate their skills.This is an opportunity for you to take on a leadership role while working with innovative technologies and methodologies. You will be instrumental in mentoring junior engineers and promoting best practices within the team to enhance our software delivery process.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Lead Engineer or Technical Lead in software development, specifically with a focus on the Shift Left testing approach.
- Strong experience with software engineering technologies and methodologies, including Agile development practices.
- Solid understanding of automated testing frameworks and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) and their integration into development workflows.
- Experience mentoring and guiding junior engineers to promote growth and knowledge sharing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and address vulnerabilities in the development process proactively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Passionate about quality assurance and the best practices in software development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor engineers in Shift Left testing strategies to enhance software quality from the start of development.
- Design automated testing solutions for quick feedback and early issue identification in the development lifecycle.
- Promote continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) to improve reliability and efficiency in software updates.
- Analyze and improve testing and quality assurance processes to eliminate bottlenecks and boost efficiency.
- Conduct training sessions on best practices in testing and quality assurance to empower team members.
- Communicate with stakeholders to report progress, address challenges, and ensure project alignment.
- Emphasize quality, performance, and security in software delivery at every development stage.
- Seeking a Lead Engineer or Architect with practical experience in Quality Assurance (QA) and automation implementation.
- Desiring a leader with a record of guiding organizations towards quality excellence and transformative practices.
- Looking for a highly experienced engineer who understands and advocates for the Shift Left approach.
