Ensure safe and efficient functioning of all marine, cargo facilities and operationsResponsible for operation, condition monitoring and troubleshooting of marine, cargo and relevant utility systems;Responsible for Safety Zone monitoring and traffic control;Responsible for export tankers mooring and unmooring operations;Responsible for cargo operations and cargo plan; cargo calculations; cargo / slop / ballast tanks entry; cargo / slop / ballast tanks condition monitoring; Crude Oil Washing operations; and Oil Record Book entries;Responsible for unit stability and hull stresses, including Loading / Stability software and software integrity;Responsible for all Lifting and personnel transfer operations and Lifting Equipment, ensure Lifting Equipment Register is up to date;Responsible for Support Vessel Handling;Responsible for Helicopter Operations, Helideck and refuelling equipment;Responsible for Waste Management and Garbage Record Book entriesResponsible for good housekeeping in marine areas;Responsible for structural maintenance of deck areas, process modules, accommodation, enclosed and machinery spaces;Responsible for planning of marine maintenance activities in coordination with Operation Superintendent;Responsible for first line and preventive maintenance of marine, cargo and relevant utility systems as per Computerised Maintenance Management System;Use the Computerized Maintenance Management System, review information in CMMS to ensure it is technically valid, accurate and up to date;Responsible for sufficient stock of relevant spare parts and consumables for marine / cargo operations; Responsible for control of hazardous substances that are used / stored for marine;Administer marine and cargo systems modifications requests under management of change procedure; Participate in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities; Ensure that vendors and contractors are managed safely and effectively; Verify and review the Company's Policies and procedures through Offshore Management Review; Develop and revise procedures and Temporary Work Instructions for marine / cargo operations; Ensure regulatory and class requirements are adhered to; Help shape a healthy corporate culture on board, proactively thinking communication and about maintaining a positive working environment; Responsible for relevant Risk Assessments; Prepare and administer required reports, maintain appropriate documentation;
Requirements
Ideally seven years’ experience as watch keeping officer with at least two years in supervisory position; Preferably FPSO or offshore platform experience; Preferably previous experience from working in a multicultural environment.Ideal behavioural preference Works in a systematic and organised manner Competent to motivate others to take action Meticulously follows rules and procedures Determined to complete tasks & projects on time Works in a careful and thorough manner
