What you'll do
As a Legal Counsel at Doconomy, you'll be at the forefront of our mission, playing a pivotal role in ensuring legal compliance, mitigating risks, and supporting our dynamic business operations.You'll be an instrumental part of a collaborative and passionate team of two. You will be reporting to Doconomy’s Head of Legal.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements – from license and SaaS agreements to strategic partnership deals.
- Provide legal advice and support on corporate matters, including corporate governance and corporate finance, such as support in relation to options programs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Commercial, Finance, and Product, to make sure we minimize risks, maximize opportunities, and help navigate complex challenges.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on industry regulations and best practices.
- Help develop and implement legal strategies and policies to protect the company's intellectual property and other valuable assets.
What you'll bring to the Team

Your Background
- A Swedish law degree.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience at a top-tier law firm or as an in-house legal counsel. Experience from a FinTech company or a bank is meritorious.
- Experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
- Experience in handling corporate matters.
- You are based in Stockholm.
