About the Role


The Technical Design Authority, within the Connectivity Business Unit, leads the delivery of customer solutions as the primary technical lead and customer contact for solution-related inquiries, ensuring alignment with needs and objectives.Expertise in SDWAN (Fortinet or Meraki), BGP (Fortinet, Cisco, Juniper), firewalling (Fortinet, Cisco), LAN/WAN (Cisco, Juniper), WiFi solutions, and Zero Trust Access is essential, with a commitment to staying updated on advancements to enhance solutions.Responsibilities include reviewing RFPs from Pre-Sales, providing technical support to finalize deals, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

You will allocate resources effectively and address any misalignment in time or budget planning.As a self-starter with a positive attitude, you will engage in technical discussions, make sound decisions, and guide the delivery of appropriate solutions. You’ll balance technical and business needs, offering tactical or strategic direction to achieve optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:


Deliver high-quality customer solutions by thoroughly understanding requirements before engagement, capturing scope changes, and ensuring associated commercial elements are addressed. Optimize resource utilization by assigning the right staff to tasks, managing time effectively, and aligning efforts with project timelines and budgets.Maintain up-to-date documentation and ensure a smooth handover to Operations with accurate materials and necessary training or support.

What we are looking for:


  • CCNP – Desirable
  • Fortinet Certified Professional – Desirable
  • Fortinet SD-WAN Professional – Desirable
  • 10 years in a customer delivery role – Desirable
  • 5 years in a senior architecture role – Essential
  • 5 years with Fortinet appliances – Essential
  • 3 years with SDWAN (Fortinet or Meraki) – Desirable
  • Strong vendor management skills – Essential
  • Good knowledge of network design use cases within hyperscalers – Essential
  • Experience with ITSM systems and automating service desk processes – Essential
  • Strong resource management – Desirable
  • Experience in building teams and assessing candidates during interviews – Desirable
