ACERTUS is the only tech-enabled automotive logistics company to move, store, recondition, title & register finished vehicles. We are seeking a Vendor Relationship Specialist to join our Title and Registration (T&R) Transportation Services team. Reporting directly to the Vendor Manager, this role will assist in managing the daily operations of our vendor relationships and ensure the efficient performance of our vendor community across 50+ states. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is eager to contribute to the growth and success of a rapidly expanding company.
This is a fulltime, in-office position. Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am -5pmPay: $20 -$25/hr. Based on Experience
What you will be doing:
- Assist the Vendor Manager in monitoring and evaluating vendor performance, ensuring that key performance indicators (KPIs) are met. Track service delivery, resolve issues, and provide regular performance feedback to vendors.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a select group of vendors, ensuring consistent and effective communication regarding performance expectations, operational changes, and service updates.
- Help manage day-to-day vendor operations by coordinating logistics, ensuring proper documentation, and facilitating smooth processes between internal teams and vendors.
- Assist with forecasting and capacity planning to ensure vendors are prepared to handle seasonal peaks in demand for Title and Registration services.
- Maintain accurate records and data related to vendor performance, processing volumes, and operational issues. Help generate reports for internal stakeholders and assist the Vendor Manager in performance reviews.
- Accurately Contribute to the identification of opportunities for process improvements, working with internal teams and vendors to implement changes that drive efficiency and service quality.
- Act as a liaison to resolve operational issues and service discrepancies between vendors and internal teams, escalating issues to the Vendor Manager as necessary.
- Ensure that all vendor-related documentation is accurate and up to date. Help manage compliance with relevant regulations and internal processes.
- Assist in onboarding new vendors, ensuring they are familiar with ACERTUS' processes, systems, and expectations. Participate in training initiatives to ensure vendors are aligned with operational goals.
- All other duties as assigned by management.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of experience in vendor management, logistics, operations, or customer service.
- Experience in transportation or title & registration services is a plus but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to adapt to new software and systems.
- Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment such as call centers, customer service, or operations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with vendors, internal stakeholders, and leadership
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple vendor relationships and track key deliverables.
- Ability to address operational issues effectively and take the initiative to drive solutions, working independently and collaboratively.
- A customer-centric approach with the ability to manage vendor relationships professionally and address service-related concerns.
- Strong time management skills, able to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines effectively.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, changing environment with evolving demands.
