NCQA is hiring for a Senior Analyst in Product Management who works on cross-functional teams to formulate ideas, conduct market research, engage with customers to gain firsthand insight on the programs and customer needs, prepare information to create business cases/models. The Sr. Analyst supports and/or leads standards development for new and/or in-market product updates. Standards development is an iterative process that requires continuous engagement with NCQA advisory committees, standing committees, customers, and other stakeholders.
Product Development. Serve as part of the product development process. Collaborate with team members to ensure successful feature/product launch. Develop a shared understanding of the product throughout the product development team and the broader organization through the creation supporting materials, including standards.
Lifecycle Management.
Work on the product lifecycle, supporting formation activities up through to development, delivery and execution, including product backlogs.
Primary Responsibilities
- Validate jobs-to-be-done, supports TAM/SAM/SOM research, competitive analysis, supports drafting of initial business case. Schedules customer and stakeholder interviews, prepares research in advance of each meeting.
- Support the development of content for existing and/or new programs.
- Take content through multiple iterations and integrate feedback from product manager(s), advisory committees, standing committees, pilots, customer and stakeholder discussions.
- Develop consistent, clear, surveyable requirements across products.
- Lead presentations to internal and external stakeholders throughout the content development process.
- Supports product owner with business case development, market segmentation, validation of willingness to purchase, initial pricing.
- Manages scheduling, communication, keeping track of engagements and feedback.
- Works with product owner to summarize and communicate fundings. Iterates on product value, value prop and pricing model.
- Develop and present education materials for surveyor training and education sessions that NCQA makes available to current and perspective customers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience working with health plans or health care delivery organizations in some setting, or similar relevant experience in health care industry. Master's degree and 2+ years.
- Experience writing standards or similar requirements.
Familiarity with NCQA and NCQA’s programs preferred
Experience taking products through the Product Development Life Cycle
Compensation & Benefits:
- For new hires, this position pays in the range of $80K - $100K per year, depending on experience.
