Summary:


We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Senior Marketing & Events Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of corporate events, conferences, and other key gatherings. In this role, you will be responsible for managing every aspect of the event lifecycle, from initial concept and planning through execution and post-event analysis. Your goal will be to create engaging, memorable experiences that align with business objectives and deliver exceptional value to attendees. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong project management skills, able to manage multiple events simultaneously, work within budget constraints, and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless event execution.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Plan, manage, and execute corporate events, conferences, trade shows, and other key events from concept to completion.
  • Develop event strategies and objectives in collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Create and manage detailed event timelines, project plans, and budgets, ensuring events are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors, including venues, catering, A/V providers, and event production teams.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including registration, transportation, lodging, setup, and teardown, ensuring a smooth experience for all attendees.
  • Oversee marketing and promotion for events, working closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, manage email campaigns, and ensure effective event branding.
  • Manage on-site event resources, ensuring all team members are aligned with event goals and deliverables.
  • Track and analyze event performance metrics, including attendance, attendee engagement, and post-event feedback, to continuously improve future events.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, health, and safety regulations for each event.
  • Manage post-event debriefs and reports, including analysis of ROI, lessons learned, and recommendations for future events.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices, incorporating new ideas and innovations to enhance event experiences.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in event management, marketing, hospitality, or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience managing large-scale corporate events, conferences, or similar functions.
  • Proven experience in event planning, logistics, and project management, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong vendor management and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage relationships and contracts effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to work well with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Ability to manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective delivery of events.
  • Proficiency with event management software and tools (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite, Teams, Zoom, etc.).
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically to deliver exceptional event experiences.
  • Willingness to travel periodically for U.S. domestic events 5 or more times a year.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience in managing hybrid or virtual events.
  • Strong analytical skills to measure and optimize event performance.
