Position Summary:
Greet residents and their guests, be available for resident’s inquires and concerns regarding events and programs offered at Sun City Festival both in person and by phone. Proficiently operate computer programs for processing of program registration, facility reservations, community membership card activations, guest passes and other requests as directed by Management.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and their guests; checks-in residents and their guests upon entering the facility.
- Advise residents and their guests of facility policies and procedures.
- Perform basic reception duties as it pertains to Resident Services; answering incoming telephone calls, resident mailings, facility tours, café sales and other tasks as requested by Management.
- Perform facility opening/closing procedures and identify changes to implement.
- Register and take payment for programs and/or facility reservations.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the Resident Services area.
- Monitor activities in exercise equipment areas, aerobic room, aquatic areas, outdoor gaming area, locker rooms, classrooms, craft rooms and ballroom; report all safety and facility concerns to Management.
- Respond to emergency situations per First Aid/CPR training and/or facility procedures as necessary.
- Assist Lifestyle Director with planning and execution of events and programs as needed.
- Perform other related duties as directed.

- Ability to proficiently utilize computer programs and database systems, including Microsoft Office, internet and e-mail systems.

- Ability to deal with customer service requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively within the department as well as with other departments.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- Must be flexible and capable of working varied hours, to include weekends, holidays and special events if necessary.
- Able to see well enough to read faint or partially obscured writing or printing, with corrective lenses if needed.
- Must be able to speak English in a clear and understandable voice so that various types of communications may be conducted with people of various levels of education and capabilities, to include the exchange and receipt of information over the telephone.
- Position involves sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, pushing, shoving, lifting, carrying and moving objects that can weigh up to 45 pounds. Must be able to transport self around the office and surrounding association and recreation center facilities.
- Must be able to interact with all types of individuals, be mentally alert, detail oriented, and with good reasoning skills.
- Must be able to work more than one assignment at a time with frequent interruptions, changes and delays and be able to remain focused and work effectively, efficiently, and cheerfully under such circumstances.
- Must be able to work effectively and cheerfully in an environment, which may be stressful due to adversarial situations resulting from proper performance of duties.
