Who You Are:As a Senior Global Accountant reporting to the Director of Accounting, you'll be key to ensuring our global accounting functions run smoothly and our financial closes are accurate. You'll take charge of account reconciliations, assist with complex consolidations and intercompany entries, maintain the general ledger, and provide crucial support during audits.We're looking for someone with a deep understanding and practical experience across the entire accounting close cycle. You should be highly detail-oriented, self-motivated, and bring a positive attitude to the team.

  • Execute critical accounting tasks, including recording, reconciling, and analyzing General Ledger transactions for areas such as cash, investments, fixed assets, leases, inter-company, etc.
  • Play a central role in our month-end close, preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and conducting in-depth flux analysis.
  • Be a catalyst for change, independently identifying, initiating, and implementing process improvements that drive efficiency and support our company's sustainable growth.
  • Contribute to various strategic projects and initiatives, particularly those involving new processes or implementations.
  • Respond to external audit and tax requests, plus any ad-hoc financial requests from other departments.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA is a plus.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in General Ledger accounting, intercompany transactions, and financial consolidation.
  • Public accounting experience (Big 4 or large national firm) preferred.
  • Strong preference for NetSuite OneWorld and multibook experience.
  • Deep understanding of US GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, project management, and leadership abilities.

The base pay will be dependent on your skills, work experience, location, and qualifications. This role may also be eligible for equity & benefits. ($120,000 - $130,000)We acknowledge the confidence gap at Ouster.
