Position Overview


Under the direction of the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition, The Recruiting Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing the full lifecycle of the recruitment process for one or more projects/programs within FM Talent. This person will lead a team of recruiting professionals and will assist with ongoing recruitment activities including identifying and tracking candidates while providing guidance to hiring managers to aid in the selection of the strongest candidates. This person will also work with our HR Team to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires. The position will be hybrid, requiring 2 days a week in the office in Silver Spring, MD.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the recruiting subject matter expert and point of contact for customers.
  • Fills positions related to the operations and management to include: billable positions, unfunded positions, commercial positions and corporate positions.
  • Develops new strategies and programs to attract candidates.
  • Works with the director to establish and maintains recruiting metrics for assigned projects
  • Oversees the work of the recruiting team for the assigned projects.
  • Works closely with recruiting team members to share best practices, provide assistance on critical needs and coordinate on company-wide level initiatives.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Provides constructive and timely performance feedback

Qualifications and Requirements


  • 3+ years of full lifecycle recruiting experience; high volume recruiting preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a similar field; or a minimum of 4 years of equivalent recruitment experience
  • 1 + years of experience leading/training a team.
  • Previous government contract recruiting experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated successful complex sourcing techniques to identify difficult-to-find or limited availability skill sets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience conducting diversity outreach
  • Forward Thinking: The ability to anticipate the implications and consequences of situations and take appropriate action to be prepared for possible contingencies
  • Demonstrated experience working with various ATS and HRIS systems
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate openly and effectively
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and Outlook
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and to effectively manage time and priorities
  • Must have strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Ability to quickly adapt as situations change and make the best possible decisions with the information at-hand
  • Ability to effectively build and maintain rapport with internal stakeholders to develop and deliver recruiting strategies and initiatives
  • Ability to work under and meet tight deadlines and deliverables
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to handle and track multiple complex searches simultaneously
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
