Job Summary:
The Player Personnel Manager assists in the management, planning and analysis of the budget and roster for Atlanta United FC’s First and Second Teams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain and update player contract and document database for First and Second Teams, including contract trackers (payment due dates, bonuses, options, loans, auto-triggers)
- Maintain contract templates and create first drafts of term sheets and Second Team contracts
- Manage documentation for all First Team call-ups and Second Team loans
- In close cooperation with Data Analytics team, review the First Team salary cap, including projections, bonuses and trades
- Actively manage Club’s FIFA TMS and US Soccer registration accounts
- Maintain Club’s Solidarity Mechanism and Training Compensation database
- Oversee day-to-day operations and player personnel of the Second Team
- In conjunction with Business Operations, oversee matchday operations for Second Team home matches
- Manage the Second Team budget in partnership with SVP of Strategy
- In coordination with Academy Director of Operations, actively manage current HG list and historical HG registration information
- Participate in the creation of presentations and PowerPoint decks for key Club stakeholders
- Provide Pre-Season support as needed in conjunction with Director of
- Soccer Operations
- Other functions as assigned by SVP of Strategy
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a professional office setting
- Experience in management of operating budgets
- Experience in drafting basic contracts from established templates
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary
- Multilingual is preferred
