Power BI Developer | About You
As a Power BI Developer, you are responsible for developing interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations that inform decision-making. With a proven ability to develop and reverse-engineer complex BI products, you are detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to deliver high-impact analytics in a dynamic environment.
Power BI Developer | Day-to-Day
- Design, build, and validate dashboards, reports, and data solutions to meet business needs.
- Develop and maintain databases, data lakes, data warehouses, and related queries for reporting.
- Perform data imports, exports, and conversions between internal and external systems.
- Integrate BI platforms with enterprise systems to deliver cohesive and actionable insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs, gather requirements, and align solutions with objectives.
- Optimize data models and queries to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability.
Power BI Developer | Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience developing Power BI solutions, including advanced DAX and Power Query.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft BI Stack (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS) and advanced T-SQL for data management.
- Expertise in designing scalable databases, data lakes, and data warehouses with tabular and multidimensional modeling (DAX, MDX).
- Proven ability to integrate BI tools with enterprise systems to deliver actionable insights.
- Strong analytical skills with a history of reverse-engineering and improving data solutions.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Informatica, IICS, Collibra, and Snowflake are nice to have.
