Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Execute and manage the organization’s overarching marketing strategy to increase awareness and market share.
- Align all marketing initiatives with the company’s strategic objectives and ensure cohesive messaging across all channels
- Build, guide and mentor a team of marketing professionals, setting clear goals, expectations, and performance metrics.
Brand Positioning and Management
- Oversee brand positioning to effectively communicate our UVP and differentiate the organization within a competitive market.
- Build and maintain a strong, recognizable brand identity that resonates with our target audience
- Ensure brand consistency across marketing activities
Campaign Development & Execution
- Design and execute integrated marketing campaigns that resonate with our target audience
- Manage global multi-channel campaigns
- Build and implement processes for successful execution of campaigns
- Analyze campaign KPIs and adjust strategies to maximize engagement and conversion for maximal ROI
Digital & Content Marketing
- Oversee digital marketing efforts, including SEO, social media, email marketing, and content strategy, to improve digital presence and traffic conversions
- Develop, lead and execute content marketing initiatives, such as white papers, case studies, webinars, and blog posts, to position the company as thought leader
- Oversee company websites and digital presence to optimize user experience and drive conversions.
Market Research & Competitive Analysis
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, client needs, and competitor activities.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to adapt marketing strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Track regulatory and technological developments in the clinical research space to anticipate changes and drive responses
Sales Development & Business Development Support
- Collaborate with the commercial team to align marketing initiatives with sales goals and enhance client acquisition efforts.
- Develop sales enablement processes and tools, such as presentations, brochures, and case studies, to support the sales team in prospect engagement.
- Work on targeted marketing initiatives and ABM approaches to support growth
Performance Measurement & Budget Management
- Leverage automated tracking of KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing efforts
- Regularly assess and refine the marketing strategy based on performance data and feedback from key stakeholders
- Manage marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and optimization of expenditures for maximum impact.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, higher level degrees/MBA preferred although not mandatory
- Strong experience in CRO industry
- Strong marketing leadership experience and team management
- Excellent communications skills
- Strong organisation, communication and problem solving skills
- A solid understanding of both the CRO and the pharmacovigilance business would be a clear advantage.
- Fluency in English, additional languages is a benefit
- Computer competency and familiarity with Microsoft Office & CRM systems
