DSFederal,Inc. seeks a Help Desk Analyst to provide facilities management, procurement, help desk, and technical support for headquarters to ensure that operations run as effectively and efficiently as possible.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Provide first level contact and assist with customer issues.
- Track, route, and redirect problems to corporate IT resources, as needed.
- Follow up with customers, provide feedback and see problems through to resolution.
- Ensure proper recording of help-desk tickets, documentation,and closure.
- Preserve and grow your knowledge of help desk procedures,products and services.
- Manage and routinely audit DSFederal assets and inventory.
- Coordinate with IT Department and assist with maintaining facility and network security.
- Provide assistance with on-boarding by ensuring that new employees have appropriate equipment and space prepared for them.
Requirements
Technical Skills Required
- Platforms: Windows 7/10, Linux
- Software: MS Office Suite; Common internet browsers
- Hardware: PCs; Laptops; Printers; VOIP
- Basic networking ability
- Working knowledge of help desk ticketing practices and remote assistance services
- Strong client-facing and communication skills
Education Required
- Bachelor’s/Associate's Degree, or currently pursuing a degree
