Summary
The Supervisor of Case Management (CM) part-time is responsible for supervision of Case Manager (CM) and Tenant Services Coordinator (TSC) by conducting weekly individualized supervisions, reviewing case notes, case plans, and services. This position works on Wed to Fri at 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Sat and Sun at 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Essential Functions
- Conducts weekly individualized supervisions with each CM and TSC
- Reviews and audits all caseloads to provide support and feedback to the CM and TSC
- Supports the CM with attending client meetings and home visits when necessary and assists with TSC events
- Responsible for organizing and ensuring each household’s monthly rent is properly and accurately added to the excel tracking spreadsheet
- Conducts the weekly multidisciplinary team meeting
- Conducts Report to Staff appeal meetings
- Completes interviewing, onboarding, and training of newly hired Case Managers
- Conducts File Reviews
- Conducts routine audits on case notes and services
- Conduct outreach for new and updated resources in the community and present them to team.
- Complete Conflict Resolution and Crisis Intervention for residents and staff member when necessary
- Facilitate Staff Meetings on a rotation basis in which updates and policy refreshers are provided
- Facilitate trainings and refreshers for the team on an as needed basis
- Advocate and assist with carrying out mediation meetings between property management and clients
- Oversee and manage time keeping for staff
- Create and update performance goals for team on a yearly basis
- Conduct performance evaluations for staff on a yearly basis
- Create and provide self-care activities to staff on a rotation basis
- On time completion of assigned training and policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/certification
- 2+ years in similar job field experience (such as case management), or lived experience
- Must have a valid in-state driver’s license, provide current registration and insurance, and have a driving record with no more than 2 points within the last 3 years.
- Any combination of training and/or experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to fulfill the responsibilities and duties of the assigned employment classification
- Professional or personal experience supporting individuals with disabilities, mental illnesses, or challenging behaviors highly preferred.
- Possess mobility to work in an office setting and use standard office equipment.
- Proficiency in typing and all Microsoft Software.
- Proficiency in solution focused case management style
