Position Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented Power BI Developer with a strong BI background, able to build and maintain BI and analytics solutions, with advanced Azure, T-SQL and DAX skills, experienced in data and semantic modeling within Power BI tool using financial data.
Advanced knowledge of Paginated Reports, Power Query, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake Storage would be highly beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Power BI reports, analytics, and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
Perform data analysis and create efficient semantic models optimized for Power BI.
Leverage advanced SQL skills for complex data queries and transformations.
Translate business needs into technical requirements, collaborating closely with stakeholders.
Enhance and maintain BI infrastructure to ensure high performance and reliability.
Provide Power BI training and support to users on best practices and functionality.
Stay current with Power BI advancements and other BI technologies for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Proven BI experience with a solid foundation in data analysis, modeling and reporting.
Expert SQL skills for complex data manipulation and analysis.
Strong experience in data modeling, star schema and semantic layer creation.
Background in financial services with a deep understanding of industry-specific data.
Proficient in Power BI report and dashboard creation.
Familiarity with advanced BI tools and technologies (T-SQL, DAX language, Power BI tool, Power Query, Paginated Reports, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake).
