The primary purpose of this role is to enable Financial and Budgetary decision making related to the Global IT function, by tracking and providing timely and accurate information related to planned, forecasted, and actual spend by project, supplier, function, and category. It requires close coordination with IT Executive Leaders, IT Finance Partners, Project Managers, VP – Strategy & Execution – CIO Office, and CIO.
What You'll Do
- Support Analyst with maintenance of financial management framework for all IT spend (to ensure costs are budgeted and reported accurately and to drive accountability to forecasted spend)
- Provide tracking of all budget, forecast, commitments (purchase requests), and actuals by function, category, supplier, and project
- Aid in collection of all necessary financial information to enable IT leadership decision making related to spend
- Process all IT purchase requests related to approved spend, including coding and submission for approvals
- Process all IT invoices related to approved spend
- Review financial approval requests to ensure all data requirements are met
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Time management skills, ability to prioritize both daily and monthly tasks
- Basic understanding of financial reporting
- Experience with financial systems (Concur and D365) preferred
