The Opportunity:


As the Head of Partner Sales Management Americas, you will lead the Partner Sales team to drive in-region, partner generated revenue growth. This is a field facing role requiring strong collaboration with focus partners and commercetools’ Sales teams. As our front-line leader of this team, you require strong communication, analytical and project management skills to succeed. You will provide hands-on coaching and guidance to your team and build operational rigor and consistency to help scale the business.

Your Mission:


  • Acquiring and managing key partners that align with regional goals of revenue growth and market expansion
  • Hiring, managing and mentoring Partner Sales Managers to optimize performance aligned to regional goals
  • Collaborating with Sales Leaders on initiatives to increase pipeline creation and conversion
  • Attain monthly, quarterly and annual bookings goals assigned to the Partner Sales team
  • Take global principles and create a local partner sales strategy to achieve revenue goals with the partner ecosystem including global and local system integrators
  • Coach the Partner Sales team to work as an integrated team with sales, marketing and BDRs with no silos in order to achieve the same goals
  • Align with your peers in key partner organizations to prioritize their go-to-market activities including business planning, pipeline creation, co-marketing, and sales motions
  • Foster continuous improvement, ensuring that all partner sales managers, activities (partner sales meetings, pipeline creation, account mapping, partner reviews, etc.) are effective and scalable

What you need to succeed:


  • 5+ years of partner sales management leadership experience leading a 6+ person organization of experienced partner sales managers
  • Track record of successfully building a global and local co-sell and influence system integrator partner ecosystem
  • SaaS domain expertise operating in a matrixed internal structure
  • Proven experience working in a growth environment, scaling teams and revenue growth with new logo business
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Good understanding of performance metrics and driven with an extreme sense of urgency to deliver
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including group leadership and executive presentations with the ability to articulate complex concepts and influence others with ease
  • Willingness to travel up to 75%
