Our Summer 2025 Advisory and Consulting Interns may work on:


Internal Audits:


  • Accounting Standards implementation
  • Internal audits
  • Local government accounting assistance

CFR Prep:


  • Preparations of consolidated fiscal reports – from source documentation to the final client reviewed product
  • Data analytic projects – comparing client key figures other organizations within defined parameters or across the state
  • Due diligence projects – analyze impact and sustainability of potential mergers and acquisitions for clients
  • Bookkeeping projects – take client prepared supporting documentation and update client QuickBooks for transactions

Healthcare Consulting:


  • Preparation and certification of Federal and State required cost reporting
  • Medicare Cost Reports for all healthcare entity types
  • Medicaid Cost Reports:
  • Diagnostic & Treatment Centers (AHCF)
  • Home Care (HC)
  • Long Term Care (RHCF)
  • Assisted Living (ACF)

The Wage for this position is $22/hour.

Requirements:


  • Active enrollment in an accredited, 4-year college curriculum, accounting program preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Have passion to provide superior customer satisfaction
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Dependable and proactive self-starter with the ability to handle and manage multiple priorities
