Job Summary


Under Supervision, This Position Is Responsible For Conducting Research And Providing Responses To A Variety Of Written And Web Based Inquiries From Beneficiaries, Providers, Blues Plans And Etc.
The Correspondent Advocate class will start on January 27th, 2025.Job FairDecember 10th, 5:00-7:00PM201 Coles Centre PkwyMattoon, IL 61938Onsite interviews and assistance applying if neededJob ID: R0037661*This position allows for a potential flex/telecommute schedule based on performance.*BASIC FUNCTION:Under supervision, this position is responsible for conducting research and providing responses to a variety of written and web based inquiries from beneficiaries, providers, blues plans and etc.JOB REQUIREMENTS:*6 months customer service experience OR 6 months experience in an office environment*Data entry and/or typing experience.*Interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills and independent decision making skills.*Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:*Billing or insurance experience.*Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.*Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change.*Referral preference given to applicants able to take and meet testing criteria.*PC proficiency to include Microsoft Word and Excel.
