The Role:
The Warehouse Loader is primarily a warehouse based job responsible for ensuring our products get in and out of our warehouse in a safe and timely manner. They are responsible for pulling orders based on pick ticket to accurately build orders for loading into delivery trucks. The warehouse loader enjoys working in a busy, fast paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build orders according to assigned load tickets.
- Manually lift and move product to restock and repack enduring date code accuracy and proper rotation of product.
- Safely load and unload products into/from delivery vehicles utilizing various methods like liftgates, carts, hand trucks, or pallet jacks.
- Adhere to good warehouse practices and safety standards.
- Responsible for meeting productivity requirements.
- Stage completed pallets in designated area.
- Load completed orders into delivery vehicles.
- Complete inventory counts alongside Operations Manager.
- Communicate problems, needs, and successes with Operations Manager.
- Complete needed administration.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be 18 years of age or meet the minimum state legal age requirement.
- Must be able to lift products from 25-50 lbs on a regular basis.
- 6 months related experience.
- Forklift certified or ability to become certified.
- Ability to operate a manual / powered pallet jack.
