Job Objective:
Provide logistics and materials management to support a work culture that exemplifies teamwork and provides a safe and healthy work environment.

Essential Job Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate and manage all day to day logistics and material needs of Hilcorp Alaska’s North Slope operating interests; Milne Point, Northstar Island and Endicott.
  • Manage and oversee weekly transport of Hilcorp Alaska and subcontract personnel from the Deadhorse airport to their respective work sites.
  • Manage and oversee the daily expediting of materials to/from Deadhorse and facilities to respective drop points.
  • Ensure compliance with all corporate, state and federal regulations and laws.
  • Interface with logistics providers; trucking, fixed wing, helicopter, hovercraft and marine operators, to ensure a high level of service is delivered to end users.
  • Administer the quality and accuracy of the material inventory system within the Hilcorp Alaska’s enterprise asset management system.
  • Source, purchase, and manage material requirements for Hilcorp Alaska’s North Slope facilities.
  • Offer broad material support for site facilities and personnel associated with those facilities, ensuring schedules and timelines are met.
  • Ensure proper cost codes, AFEs and Work Orders are applied to track all logistics and material costs.
  • Adheres to the company’s values – integrity, ownership, urgency, alignment and innovation.
  • Supports company vision and mission.
  • Adheres to established work schedule, attendance standards and is punctual to work and meetings.

Other Job Responsibilities:


  • Supervises personnel and conducts employee performance evaluations.
  • Assists with salary administration.
  • Assists with hiring and retention of personnel.
  • Ability to be available 24 hours per day (on call for questions, emergencies, etc.).
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects company assets, including intellectual property, by keeping information confidential.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results, as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum 10 years’ experience of North Slope logistics and/or material management or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years in a supervisory position related to logistics and/or material management or a related field.
  • Familiar with CFR 49, OSHA’s HAZWOPER Standards and State of Alaska DOT regulations.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public.
  • Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities.
  • Ability to travel to remote locations via large and small planes, helicopter or boat, and ability to don and doff immersion suit.
  • Ability to work in Arctic conditions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills.
  • Must be a highly motivated individual, team player, with good problem solving skills.

Education Requirements:


  • Minimum High School diploma or GED equivalent is required, with two (2) years college coursework preferred.
