Purpose: Enable safe, excellent, reliable operations by implementing and managing the technical operations software system to provide efficient, cost-effective support for executing the airline’s technical operations processes, including records management. Build simplicity, “one-crew” seamless teamwork, and “always getting better” into the implementation and use of the software systems that help our crewmembers save our customers time and money. 


Responsibilities:


  • Administrate the aircraft maintenance tracking software, AMOS by Swiss AS, including data entry, support, and process improvement. 
  • Manage the Aircraft Records Department including administration of crewmembers and aircraft records to include development of process and procedures.
  • Facilitate the timely, successful deployment of properly configured software applications (AMOS)
  • Liaise with software provider, users, and sponsors to develop and execute software deployments 
  • Provide timely resolution of actionable software issues and development of plans to address more difficult software application and support issues 
  • Effectively interface between users, the company and software vendors assure resolution of near term and longer-term actionable issues 
  • Assure the appropriate training and support is made available to the users so they can take full advantage of the functionality the software application offers 
  • Assist in the development of training material and delivery
  • Assure selected software is used in an efficient, effective manner and delivers the intended operational benefits to the company
  • Review software use, evaluate efficacy of use and propose actions to improve effectiveness
  • Make recommendations on software purchases and objectives for future development efforts
  • Evaluate proposed options, investigate alternatives, develop solution recommendations
  • Record, maintain, and provide access to digital maintenance records accurately, efficiently, and seamlessly by using AMOS as designed
  • Development of reports, training objectives, materials, new business processes, audit criteria and recommendations
  • Work with Software at all stages including recommendations on purchases, implementation, enhancements, updates, and resolving issues

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience performing comparable responsibilities
  • Demonstrated knowledge of AMOS functions, work processes, and use of AMOS software product. 
  • Experience working in aviation with Aircraft Records
  • Experience working with test, pre-production, and production application environments
  • Software maintenance, operations, and e-Ticket system management/measurement
  • Vendor management and issue resolution
  • Strong critical thinking with an analytical approach to problem solving
  • Demonstrated ability to work through complexity to identify root causes and develop effective and simple solutions
  • Ability to clearly instruct (teach) 
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, develop relationships and motivate performance 
  • Tenacious problem solving and continuous improvement mindset
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Move throughout the office for extended periods of time (up to 10-12 hours per day)
  • Possible travel for training, deployment, or issue resolution
  • Comfortable and casual-dress business environment, with occasional requirement for full business attire for meetings or presentations

X-FACTORS:


  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred
  • Higher levels of experience with AMOS preferred.
