Job summary
Recruiters complete a number of human resources tasks for their organization, mainly related to recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new employees. They conduct candidate screening and set appointments as needed, as well as resolve applicant inquiries related to open positions. They provide orientation information and other data to new employees; they also file a variety of background checks, in addition to credit- or drug-related tests. Other tasks that recruiters perform include managing recruitment communications on the web, providing accurate information about vacancies, coordinating orientation training activities, designing effective strategies for improved logistics.
Recruiters also focus on Caregiver Retention and mentoring efforts.

Role and Responsibilities
- Healthcare industry experience required.
- Recruit care providers, LVN's and nurses.
- Maintain reports of key recruiting metrics
- Manage the candidate experience
- Candidate sourcing, screening, and performing/tracking interviews.
- Implements new hire orientation, including presenting information in a group setting
- Research and demonstrate resourcefulness with new ideas for recruiting and sourcing
- Attend various recruiting related meetings both in person and virtually, reporting to team on recruiting updates and functions
- Initiate attendance and organize execution of presentations at various employment forums such as job fairs
- Plans Caregiver retention efforts such as field visits and training support
- Works with human resources to advise them of staffing needs, terminations, and other information necessary for the smooth flow of work regarding employees. Checks candidates references and credentials, verifying experience and backgrounds.
- Makes photocopies; mails, scans, and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
- Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
- Prepares and documents new-employee files
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Healthcare industry experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
- Two years of administrative assistant experience required.
- At least one year managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process highly required.
Required Skills
- Healthcare industry experience required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with aptitude in conducting interviews, public speaking, and people skills both in person and over the phone
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Adaptability in changing systems and processes.
- Team player and a hunger to learn, cross train, and help team reach goals
- Strong organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to drive to field visits or events outside of the office
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Prolonged periods of standing while presenting
